FAQ

  • What is the maximum wireless charging speed?
The wireless induction pad provides up to 15W of power.

  • What is the output power for each built-in cable?
The built-in USB-C cable provides 15W, and the Lightning (Apple compatible) cable provides 12W.

  • What is the maximum power for the USB ports?
It takes approximately 3–4 hours when using a 2.5A power source.

  • How long does it take to fully recharge the SmartCharge?
They use direct current (DC), which is standard for USB-powered devices.

  • How long will it hold a charge if I don't use it?
It loses about 1–3% per month due to natural self-discharge. We recommend recharging the device every 6 months if it is being stored for long periods.

  • Will it charge through a thick phone case like an Otterbox?
Yes, as long as the case is no thicker than 3mm. For the best connection, ensure there are no metal plates or cards between the phone and the charger.

  • Can it be used for travel?
Yes. Its design and battery technology meet airline safety standards (TSA-approved), making it suitable for travel.

  • Can I charge the SmartCharge using an airplane seat outlet?
Airplane seat outlets often have limited power output and may not reliably charge a power bank. Availability and performance depend on the aircraft and airline.

  • Can I bring a fully charged SmartCharge on an airplane?
Yes. According to TSA and most international airline regulations, lithium battery power banks under 100Wh (which includes most consumer power banks) are allowed in carry-on luggage.

  • Can I pack the SmartCharge in checked luggage?
No. TSA and international aviation safety regulations prohibit lithium battery power banks in checked baggage. They must be carried in your carry-on bag only.
