Meet your PowerStand

PowerStand is a 240W USB-C to USB-C charging cable with a foldable stand built into the connector. It charges your phone and holds it up hands-free, in portrait or landscape.

Which end is which: the end with the fold-out legs goes into your phone. The plain end goes into your charger or computer.

Part 2

Getting started

  1. Keep the legs folded flat against the connector.
  2. Plug the plain USB-C end into your charger, power bank or computer.
  3. Plug the stand end into your phone's USB-C port. The extended shaft is designed to reach through most cases — push it in until it seats fully.
  4. Check that your phone shows it is charging.

Thick or rugged cases may block full insertion. If the connector does not click in or the phone does not charge, remove the case and try again.

Part 3

Using the stand

The legs fold out from the connector and hold your phone upright at eye level while it charges.

Portrait

Video calls, scrolling, recipes

  1. With the cable plugged into your phone, swing both legs out from the connector.
  2. Set the phone down on a flat, stable surface with the legs as the base.
  3. Adjust the leg angle to tilt the screen toward you. The friction hinges hold the position.

Landscape

Movies, gaming, FaceTime

  1. Turn the phone on its side with the connector at one end.
  2. Rotate the leg closest to the table surface down.
  3. With a single leg down, the cable works best up to a 15 degree angle.
  4. If you want a sharper angle, pull the top leg down. It can work up to a 75 degree angle.

Sound: the scoops on the stand angle your phone's bottom speakers toward you. Leave them unobstructed for the clearest audio and mic pickup.

Tips

  • Use a flat, hard surface. Soft surfaces like beds and couches can tip the phone.
  • The stand is built for phones. Do not use it to prop up tablets or heavier devices.
  • Do not carry or lift the phone by the cable while it is standing.

Part 4

Charging and compatibility

PowerStand carries up to 240W, but your device and charger decide the actual speed. The cable never pushes more power than your device requests.

Part 5

Care and safety

Fold before you pack.

Fold the legs flat before putting the cable in a bag or pocket to protect the hinges and finish.

Unplug by the connector.

Pull on the connector body, not the cable or the legs.

Clean gently.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. No solvents, abrasive pads or submerging in water.

Avoid scraping the legs.

Dragging the stand across rough or metal surfaces can wear the finish.

Keep it dry.

Do not use with a wet port or in wet conditions.

Heat is normal, hot is not.

The connector may feel warm during high-power laptop charging. If it becomes too hot to hold, unplug it.

Keep away from children and pets. Not a toy.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

Problem
Try this
Phone not charging
Remove the case and reseat the connector fully. Try a different charger or wall outlet. Check the port for lint.
Charging slower than expected
Use a USB-C PD charger. Your phone charges at its own max speed, not 240W.
Laptop not getting full power
Laptop and charger must both support USB PD 3.1 (240W). Most laptops draw 65–140W.
Phone tips over
Use a flat, hard surface and open the legs fully. Remove heavy wallet or grip accessories.
Legs feel loose
Fold and unfold a few times. If they will not hold an angle, contact support.
CarPlay not connecting
Plug into the car's data port (not a charge-only port) and unlock your phone.

Does it work with my case?

Yes for most cases. The extended connector shaft is built to reach through them. Very thick rugged cases may need to come off.

Can I use it with a MagSafe charger or wireless pad at the same time?

No. Use one charging method at a time.

Will 240W damage my phone?

No. USB-C Power Delivery only sends the power your phone asks for.
